[ And then, because she can never resist: ] So have you pushed him against a wall yet?

[ Choking on that mouthful of coffee he just took. ] Uh --. About that. This - it has to be kept a secret, okay? I know you figured it out, but it has t'be just between us.

Hey, hey, don't kill yourself. [ He sounds like he's killing himself, with the choking and all.

And then, more serious because Amy is many things, but a telltale has never been one of them. ] 'course. Promise.

[ The smirk is audible in her voice. ] Should desensitise you, too. Just imagine, at one point you might not freak out anymore.

I'm involved with a guy I've known my entire life, I don't think I'm ever gonna stop freaking out about it.

It-- gets easier, sort of.

[ And if that's a little hesitant and a lot of truth, well, Amy's involved with a guy she's known her entire life as well, and she's only still freaking out on bad days, so maybe she knows what she's talking about. ]
