[Early on Monday morning, way before Bucky usually wakes up, Steve is sneaking in. Tony texted him drunk last night, and he, as the good friend he is, went over there.

He hopes Bucky didn't worry.

He wonders if this really does make them like an old married couple.]

[ But of course, Crepe the wonder dog is so happy to see him. She skids across the floor where she collides with a table leg and knocks the entire thing down. Bucky awakes with a start from where he's sleeping on the sofa (no, he didn't wait up for you, don't think that. Ever. )]

Shit. [ He does not see Steve at first. Muffled. ] Crepe?

[Awww Crepe, why are you so happy that you destroy things? She manages to right herself and dives for Steve's knees.]

Crepe, shhh, you'll wake Bucky.

[At hearing the word Bucky, she yaps happily]

[ Well, guess who's just sitting up now and peering bleary eyed at Steve over the back of the sofa. ] Are you an' her havin' a secret party or somethin'?

[ Doing as he says, Bucky returns five minutes later tugging a sweater over his head. He's still sleep-pale, but he doesn't look like he's been sleeping where he'd sat anymore. ]

Right, c'mon, the coffee's waitin'.

[Steve leads the way to the local diner]

Did you know that they keep making the comic even after the war?
