[ It's the matter of fact way that makes Bucky pause, but he doesn't think about how Steve came to save him, the thought alone enough to make him go mad with how close to danger they both were. So he just tilts forward again, kisses Steve slow and sweet for a second. ]

[Pleased, so pleased.]

I don't really feel like getting up. I was supposed to go for a run.

[ Suddenly draping heavy on him. ] I refuse to let you out of this bed, mister.

Prisoner of war.

[Steve sort of leans forward and puts his face into the nearest patch of Bucky]

[ Muffled laughter. ] Yeah, who'd have thought it, huh? Me takin' Cap America hostage.

[ Hooking his knee over Steve's thigh to get more comfortable, half on his side, looking up at him. ] You should stay in with me today, it'd be nice, we could jus' do nothin'.

[He pauses and squirms a little, just a touch embarrassed]

Sketch you?

[ Like a french girl?

Speculatively. ] Will it make you stay in with me?

[punchedhitler]

[Maybe.]

I'll get my sketchpad.

[He used to draw Bucky all the time back home but it was always in the three seconds that Bucky would sit still]

[ Making a noise of protest at actually having to roll off Steve, but he does anyway, nudging him. ] Fine, but don't be too long.

Just a second, okay?

[Steve leaves for a minute and comes back with his artpad and a pencil, and then takes his space back. He opens the book and flips through - there are sketches of everything, from Charlie to Crepe to Tony. He chooses a blank page and starts putting lines down]

[ Instead of putting up a fuss, Bucky just watches him. Art has always been something big for Steve, and maybe he should have shown more of an interest. ]

Do you miss it? Drawin' and stuff? Art school?

[punchedhitler]

[The lines are still just blobs, at this point]

Not as much here. I go out and I sketch a lot. People, mostly.

[A pause as he gets the proportions right]

I painted Tony a portrait for Christmas.

[ Grr, Tony. ] Y'and Tony are close, huh?

[punchedhitler]

I kind of go back and forth on if I like him or not.

[Sigh, he sketches]

I don't think he has many friends.

Maybe it's a Stark thing?

Only because you like everyone, Steve. Whereas the rest of us can sense just how awful every Stark is ever gonna be.

[ Howard the most though. ]

[Steve is still sketching. Eyes, now]

Did Howard do something to you?

He's just a jerk.

[ Who helped put Steve through something Bucky couldn't help him with. The bitterness is mostly him, he knows it, won't admit it. ] Rich guy's always are.

[punchedhitler]

[Steve just looks over, and suddenly sketches that slightly downward tug of Bucky's lips]

Well, Tony doesn't like him, either.

M'not surprised. I can't imagine a dad like Howard. Maybe he'd-a changed, but I guess he didn't.
